Huge Game Today @ Dallas

It's been a while since my last update, but today is huge for my NY Giants. They're currently 6-6 and one game back in the division. Dallas is leading with a 7-5 record, so if the Giants win today, they'll be in the lead of the NFC East and one step closer to the playoffs. Dallas isn't going to roll over however, and this should be something of a shootout.

On the GIANTS:
The Giants calling cards in the past have been a ferocious pass rush and a strong rushing attack that would help set up the play action pass for Eli Manning. This year, the pass rush is still somewhat present, with Jason Pierre Paul leading the way with 10.5, tied for 5th in the league with rookie sensation, Von Miller. The running game has been terrible ever since Ahmad Bradshaw's injury several weeks ago. His return last week seemed to spark the running game, and even though Bradshaw really didn't do much, going for 38 yards on 11 carries. Brandon Jacobs seemed to really benefit from his presence though, getting 60 yards and a touchdown on 8 carries in a reserve role.
Still, if the Giants want to win, it is likely that they'll have to continue riding the arm of Eli Manning. He has been like a surgeon this season with the way that he is dissecting defenses. Against a secondary that is as average as Dallas, I expect Manning to continue to deliver the ball to Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks and the rest of his receivers without much trouble.

COWBOYS:
The Cowboys may have gotten the steal of the draft with DeMarco Murray in the second round of last April's draft. Since taking over the starting job from Felix Jones, he has looked completely unstoppable and has served as an excellent complement to the dynamic passing game conducted by Tony Romo. Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and Laurent Robinson are all dangerous weapons, and the Giants terrible secondary will definitely have a tough time containing these 3. They'll have an even tougher time if the often injured but highly skilled Miles Austin can make his way onto the field for tonight game. Tony Romo has had trouble in the past against the Giants pass rush. Last year it actually broke his collarbone and took him out for half the season.

I expect the Giants to win in a close one, 27-24
